Last week (and the week before) was quite challenging for many of us.
Whether it is individuals in the Jewish community incessantly commenting on a woman’s responsibility to “make Jewish babies” or Chief Justices considering overturning Roe v. Wade, it can sometimes feel like there is a war going on and our bodies are the prize.
Activist/Philanthropist Barbara Dobkin wrote an article in eJewishPhilanthropy on the baby-making piece; CEO’s Stosh Cotler (Bend the Arc) and Nancy Kaufman (NCJW) wrote an opinion piece on the Jewish case against elevating an unsuitable jurist to the Supreme Court. Both articles highlight the important messages on topics we find important in this work.
